Contemporary Practices
As a lecturer at SAIC,I work with students to test ideas and techniques that drive contemporary art and design in the department of Contemporary Practices Core and Research Studio classes. The Contemporary Practices combines skill-based instruction—from drawing to new technology—with studio-based methods of conceptual exploration and artistic research. Lesson plans consists of scaffolding various 2D, 3D, & 4D techniques and processes such as: sewing, mold-making, wood working, painting, drawing, sculpture, green screen (video), audio manipulations, performance and plaster.
